Paper Craft

Papercraft have been established in Washington since August 2004, when initially the core business was manufacturing card and envelope card kits for the TV shopping channel QVC. Within six months Papercraft moved into print production and manufacturing with the purchase of a £200,000 purchase of a Ryobi Four Colour printing machine, to satisfy contracts from clients who expressed a wish to design and market their own greeting cards. With the introduction of further print and finishing equipment our print division has expanded and gone from strength to strength. Our regular client base features some of the largest blue chip accounts in the UK, currently we manufacture products for John Lewis, writing pads for Tesco, price swing tickets for the Edinburgh Woolen Mill as well as the continued growth in supplying TV shopping channels, Ideal World and QVC, to name but a few.

In 2005 our production unit opened as a factory shop retailing some of the products manufactured for TV and High street as well as card, paper and envelopes for the local card-making fraternity. The advent of home computers and home printers has seen Papercraft’s factory shop go from strength to strength, as it satisfied the need of customers looking to produce their own printed products. The most popular request is from "brides to be" looking to produce their own wedding stationery with our extensive range of Pearlescent card and envelopes proving to be particularly popular whether printed by Papercraft or at home. With one of the most extensive paper card and envelope ranges in the UK, where else can you buy as little as one sheet to thousands of sheets and have them cut to your own size with no charge for cutting. August 2010 sees Papercraft expanding once again with the purchase of a brand new state of the art Digital production printing machine, this has enabled Papercraft to become an IBSN accredited book publisher and we have worked with authors both local and national to produce their books at cost effective prices. This machine enables us to print and manufacture paperback books from quantities as small as 20 to 1000’s.
